altered keyboard layout in PPT

Hi,

For some reason, some of my keys do not work properly in PPT only (Word is
fine). For example, shift-backslash gives a french character. How can I fix
this?

Hi,

Have a look in the "tool" > "auto correct" settings

and the "auto format as you type" settings

look for the characters you are seeing in the "replace" "with" boxes
