alternate calendar greyed out

I had a major crash with Outlook today and when I did
a "detect and repair" I was left with having to set up
everything again.
While my files were backed up and I lost little data, I
now find that I can no longer enable an alternate calendar.
I have reinstalled my language settings, but the option is
still greyed out and unavailable.
Any ideas?
(Using Outlook 2002 from Office XP SP3 on XP Pro machine
fully updated)

I used to have my calendar showing in both English and
French. Now, after reinstalling, I do not get any option
for enabling the alternate calendar. Can anyone please
help?
