Alternate view of the tasks

How can I create a task that has as its subtasks, subtasks from other tasks
within the same file? For example, I have the following Tier2 #1 & Tier2 #2
structure set up. I need to create the new Tier2 #3 task shown below. All
tasks in Tier2 #3 will be display only - maintenance of the actual data will
be performed in the original Tier2 #1 and Tier2 #2 tasks. Any ideas on how I
can set up this Tier2 #3 task? Thanks!

Tier2 #1
Tier3 #1
Tier3 #2
Tier3 #3
Tier3 #4
Tier2 #2
Tier3 #5
Tier3 #6
Tier3 #7
Tier2 #3
Tier3 #1 (from tier 2 #1)
Tier3 #5 (from tier 2 #2)

Brian,
In Project you can't really do exactly what you describe - at least not
easily. However by re-thinking the end goal, maybe this will work for
you. Identify those critical tasks within the body of the project.
Create start and/or completion milestones for those tasks and list those
milestone at the top of your file under a general top summary heading.
Use the Start and/or Finish fields of the identified tasks as
predecessors for each milestone. If desired you can filter the file so
that only the important milestones are displayed.

Hope this helps.
