Alternative implementation for 'wdAddCommand'?

In my VC++ developed WLL, I've been using CAPIRegister()
to register my functions. ( and CAPIRegister() interns
call 'wdCommandDispatch()' with 'wdAddCommand' as
parameter to perform registeration )

With Office 2003 Beta, it seems like CAPIRegister() has
issues and I'm looking for alternative implemetionats for
wdAddCommand or equalent.

Is it possible to have a OLE implementation of
wdAddCommand functionality.

I appriciate any thoughts on this!
