My main printer used with Word 2002 for normal page printing is an HP
Deskjet. I have a second printer, an Eltron Tigerwriter. It prints on
self-adhesive single thermal labels, 7cm x 3.5cm, on a roll feed. I am
trying to set it up to print address labels. It works just fine, with a lot
of custom configuration, from various programs, but what I really want to
do with it is print address labels quickly and easily from Word 2002. I have
made a custom setting for the label size in the "Envelopes and Labels"
section, but what I cannot do is to print to the Eltron rather than the
default Deskjet. Is it possible to specify a second printer for labels only?
It doesn't seem to be possible to set the printer type in a "style", and I
can't find any other way to stop the label printing going automatically to
the Deskjet - the option to select a printer isn't given (as it is when you
print a normal document) when you click the "print" button in "Envelopes and
Labels". Any ideas?
