Alvin Help Please !! OWC Chart Series colors not persistant after

J

Jeff Moore

In my OWC11 Chart control it is reporting on a OLAP cube. I have assigned
colors to the different series and saved the control. However when I drill
down on a series and then back up the adjacent series change to other colors.
I would like the diferent series to have specific colors for their respective
catagories. Please give me some direction on this. Originally posted in March.

Thanks

do you have a sample cube and some short code that demonstrates the issue?
post it. make sure it will run correctly and demonstrate the issue before
you post the code

Alvin:
Thank you for taking time to respond. I do not really have any code to show
per se. I have the data in Analysis services cubes and I am configuring the
OWC11 pages in Front Page. I assign the color for the series' by right
clicking and so on. Everything is fine until I drill down on a series on the
graph. Upon drilling backup the color changes on adjacent series. Is there a
way to code the series colors to be persistant? I can send screen shots if it
would help but did not see a way to post or forward them.

Thanks Again for your time.

Best Regards
Jeff

Alvin:
I have the screenshots of the bug and have zipped them up. The only problem
is that I do not know how to send them to you. My e-mail is
(e-mail address removed). I can reply if you send an e-mail to me or a link to
post the file.

Best Regards
Jeff
