am I the only one?

I mean, am I the only person here suffering from the lack of a global
template feature in on07

It is really annoying to set my own template everytime, everytime,
everytime........

We'd find it very useful too.

We use the same template for every page in every section in every notebook.
It has to be set for every new section (= Student Name) we create.

Hopefully the next version will provide this feature.

If many find it useful, why would not it be in the service pack?

I mean for a programmer, to fix this should not take too much time right?

Why these important requests become a fetish to be cured only in a new
version?

Look these kind of things make people question MS. Spend money money and
money....

Another example: Vista has a bug that when you copy and try to paste a file
sized 50kb, for instance,
it waits and waits and waits because vista is calculating the time how much
it would take to
copy and paste a 50kb file... A bug...
Did not vista developers ever tried to copy and paste files????

As it has been stated before, service packs are supposed to fix bugs, not
add features. What you want is a feature and even though it may be the most
important thing in the world to you, it may not be a top priority. That's
just something we gotta deal with. Personally, I'd like to see the ribbon
get implemented, or even a color scheme that matches the ribbon apps like
Outlook does. But it's not a feature yet. I don't think it's fair to say
that this is why people question MS and then compare it to a Vista bug.

And the file copy bug you mentioned is fixed in Vista SP1.

OK...

I think I am just impatient.

But given the amount of money MS makes from the customers...

I sometimes have difficulties to understand why some basic things are taking
so much time to programme...

How many people are working for ON07?

About the vista bug... well a simple copy paste should not have been an
issue...

There is something wrong...

Yet these comments do not prevent me saying that ON is a great program...

I always advertise it around...

Well it should not have happened.

If one wants to fly high, s/he needs good wings...

If Vista claims that it is the best ever OS, then a copy paste should be of
no concern.

Sorry but it is funny to see that a new OS is not capable of a paste...

Anyway this is off topic and furthermore I agree woth the other points you
have mentioned.

My comments were a bit strong, sorry.
