I'm trying to utilise an unsigned ActiveX control in an HTML page
In Internet Explorer 6.0 on Windows 2000, even when the IE security settings
are set to their lowest (and all activex related options are set to enable)
I always get the message:
An ActiveX control on this page might be unsafe to interact with other
parts of the page. Do you want to allow this interaction.
In Internet Explorer 6.0 on Windows 98 this message can be stopped from
activating by Enabling the Local Intranet "Initialize & script activeX
controls not marked as safe"
I have tried changing the html file extension to .HTA (which stops the
message) but the page opens in a new window which is not acceptable for this
application.
Is there any way of preventing the message in Internet Explorer 6 on Windows
2000?
TIA
