an attachement to e mail offering security

P

Peter Crooks

I have twice in the past two weeks received an offer in
the form of an attachment to an unsolicited e mail to
upgrade my security with MS.Do you consider it safe to
read the attachment as I understand that Microsoft do not
send out security up dates in this way. The sender talks
about vulnerabilities and the message does not ring true.

regards

Peter

It contains a virus. Delete it and do not open it. You have understood
correctly that Microsoft will NEVER send out unsolicited updates via email.

Hello Lynn,

I have just opened this file and my e-mail's are going
crazy. just received 59 e-mails notifying me of
undelivered e-mails.

How do I get rid of it?

Thomas
