Folks,
I am trying to add a Portable Network Graphics image (.png) of a button to
my FrontPage-created webpage. The image has a transparency perimeter around
the button. I created it that way and when I open it in image
viewers/editors like MS Photo Editor, Image Composer and Photoshop it shows
the transparency. However, when I add it to the page the transparency
disappears. Any thoughts as to why this is happening and how can I correct
it?
So far my attempts to produce the same image as a GIF have produced a lower
quality output (the shading around the button is severely degraded). I would
really like to use the PNG image.
Thanks in advance to those who collaborate in answering this question.
