Hey,
I'm a member of an email list which uses Mailman version 2.1.9, which I
receive in message digest mode (it waits for about 6 emails come in, then
sends me one email with those 6 emails attached.)
This works fine. However, I've noticed that when someone sends a message
signed with a digital certificate I am unable to open it. If I click the
email once (ie. so the preview feature kicks ni), it says:
"This file cannot be previewed because of an error with the following
previewer:
Microsoft Office Outlook message and item previewer
To open this file in its own program, double-click it."
That's fine, so I double click it, to be presented with the error dialog box:
"An error occurred in the underlying security system. An internal error
occurred."
Now, no one else seems to be having this problem on the mailing list (eg. no
one has sent an email to the list saying "what's wrong with your digital
certificate"), and other people are replying to his messages, so it would
appear just to be me.
If I save the attached email message to say, my desktop, and try to open it
from there, I get the same error message.
Both Google and the Knowledge Base have no hits for this error message.
Running Outlook 2007, Windows Vista, Cloudmark Desktop and syncing with a HP
iPAQ via Windows' Sync Centre .
Any idea what the problem could be?
