An error occurred while creating Threads

I've installed Adobe's Acrobat 6.0 on my WIN2k/SP4 machine
with Office XP/SP2.

I get an error "An error occurred while creating Threads"
whenever I attempt to convert a Word file into a PDF from
within Word. I've repaired Office, uninstalled Office, re-
installed Office, uninstalled Acrobat and reinstalled but
all to no avail.

Any ideas? Any help is appreciated.

Uninstall/Reinstall never works and is always a waste of time. You need to
go to Adobe on line for support for this problem. Don't be fobbed off by
them saying this is a Word problem: it isn't. This is because Adobe are a
bunch of w.....s and can't write simple macros.
