An OLE registration error occur when create new account or contact

Dear All,

I am using MS-Office 2003 SP3 and has Business Contact Manager.
I have a problem after update my office using SP3.
I could not create new account or new business contact neither open the
existing account or business contact.
There is an error message comes up: 'An OLE registration error occurred. The
program is not correctly installed. Run Setup again for the program.'

I had tried to reinstall the Business Contact Manager but it does not work.
Does anybody has experience same problem with this issue?
TIA
Warian

Start->run, type "regsvr32.exe ole32.dll" and press okay. This should reregister the object and get rid of the error message.

Milly:
I'm running Windows XP and Office 2003 with Word 2003/Outlook 2003.

When I try to compose an email in Outlook with Word as my editor (HTML), I
get "Microsoft Word is set to be your e-mail editor. However, Word is
unavailable, not installed, or is not the same version as Outlook. The
Outlook e-mail editor will be used instead. An OLE registration error has
occurred. The program is not correctly installed. Run setup again for the
program."

When I remove Word as the editor, in favor of using Outlook, I get “One or
more Active X control could not be displayed because either: 1) your current
security settings prohibit running Active X control on this page; or 2) you
have blocked a publisher of one of these controls. As a result, the page may
not display correctly.â€

I have seen you and others recommend re-populating the registry with the
ole32.dll. However, when I run the command: “regsvr32
%WINDIR%\system32\ole32.dllâ€, I get: “DllRegisterServer in
C:\Windows\system32\ole32.dll failed. Return code was: 0xc0000005â€.

I’m fairly certain from the forums that if I can get ole32.dll re-populated
in the registry that my Outlook / Word problem will be fixed. Can you help
me figure out why the ole32.dll will not re-register??

Thanks!!
Platty
