Hi all,
We are using Project Server 2007, with SP1 and Infrastructure update
installed.
We get the common "An unexpected error has occurred", but
unfortunately it is NOT because of the common reason. I know the
following:
The project manager owns 5 projects. For 4 of the projects, ANY
resource she will assign to ANY new or existing task, will result in
the error page for the resource assigned, when navigating to "my
tasks" page. I know that the common reason for this error is assigning
new resource to a task which already has actual work, but this is not
the case here: All assignments have only one resource assigned.
Nevertheless, I run the query mentioned here
http://www.projectserverexperts.com/ProjectServerFAQKnowledgeBase/Unknown Error My Tasks Page.aspx
but it returned no result. Unpublishing and then publishing all
assignments in all project didn't do the magic this time...
Now, for the 5th project (always the same one), no assignment will
result in the error page, as long as the resource does not have
assignments from the other 4 problematic projects (or as long they are
unpublished).
This behaviour (4 problematic projects, 1 is OK) will occur with any
enterprise resource.
Please, your help is needed..
Thanks, Gil
