Project Server 2007 SP 1 + IU SQL Server 2005

This is the message I get when i, and other users, try to access the PWA
homepage for the site i created in proj serv 2007. I have checked windows
sharepoint to ensure all users have proper rights to the site. If i rdp to
the server and try to access the page on the server, i am able to login and
use the site as needed. I just cannot connect via web interface. Any
thoughts?

If the /pwa site works only from the local server but not from remote
clients, then my guess would be security and / or database connectivity if
you are receiving an "unexpected error".

Run SQL Surface Area Configuration on the SQL box make sure that TCP/IP
remote connections are enabled.

Or are you using Kerberos? If so then your SPN's are probably not setup
correctly to authenticate you with SQL.

Thanks Martin. I have checked the remote settings (several times) and they
are correct. I have walked through my entire install and cannot find what is
causing the problem. Is there some kind of logging i can turn on or
configure to see where this is stopping?

Hi Rion,

Yes you can up the ULS logging level in Central Admin - Operations. The
default however should be enough to catch this one, just review the log file
in: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server
extensions\12\LOG after you see the error..

The error does not show up in the log. I believe you are correct about this
being a database access issue. Is there something i can use to verify this?
Again, thanks for you help.
