An unknown error (4362) occurred.

I am receiving this error when opening my "spam" folder and receiving mail
on my INBOX, both on an IMAP server. This error only started occurring
recently, though I'd be hard-pressed to name an exact date. I have tried
rebuilding my Entourage 2004 database and even creating an entirely new
identity -- and I even get this error right after adding the IMAP account to
Entourage!

I'm guessing there's some message that's causing Entourage trouble, but I
don't know how to determine which one(s) so that I may clear it out, perhaps
by using my service provider's web mail interface. Any clues?

Usually it's the oldest message on the server. I have found using my web
browser to delete a problem email is the easiest solution.

Error 4362 is not the usual error for a corrupt message. If deleting the
message does not solve the problem, try a rebuild.

Sometimes this error indicates a problem Entourage is having with the
Microsoft Database Daemon. Go to System preferences/Startup Items and remove
any entries of the database daemon from the 'login items' window. Now start
up Entourage again and hopefully the problem will have been resolved.
