An XSN or Server Problem?

William

Hi

We have created a very simple form in InfoPath Designer 2007 that we are
trying to get to run in a browser. In the form options we have set: -

Compatibility: Design a form that can be opened in a browser or InfoPath.
Security: Full Trust
Security: Sign this form template and we have generated a certificate

We have exposed a stored procedure on our SQL Server 2005 database using a
HTTP endpoint that the form should communicate with. When the published form
is placed on the server where the database resides nothing happens when we
click the xsn file. No error messages are displayed.

Can any one help?
Regards
William

Hi William.

Do you have MOSS 2007 or Forms Services? This is required to host the
InfoPath form and render it in a browser. The compatibility is critical too
but you need InfoPath Forms Services to host the form.

You may want to look at the Database Accelerator from http://www.qdabra.com
it is an instalable package of web services for interacting with SQL and also
has a forms viewer which will allow you to host forms in a browser without
IFS.
