Analysis Services 2003 roles deleted when building Project olap cu

Hi All,

I need some expert advice. Project Sever 2003 Latest SP, SQL 2005 Latest Sp.
When we build the cubes the roles with the permissions in analysis services
are removed. Now according to my knowledge this should not happen, and have
not seen it happening on any one of our clients environments similar to above.

Surely Project Server Cube building services does not have permissions to
remove the roles. So do you think this is a project Server 2003 Issue or a
SQL 2005 Issue?

It's even worse... the entire cube is re-created from scratch every time the
cube building job fires - leading to quite long build times even when no
historical data has changed!

It is possible to use the olapbreakout functionality i PS2003 (check the sdk
on extending the olap process) and therein save the manually modified role
settings prior to the cube rebuild step of the process and the re-aply them
after the cube have been processed.
