Analysis Services Database to be created: [2007]

Hello,
In the Cube Build Settings page, I expect to create several Analysis
Services Databases (one for each year) so that I would be able to create
specific Data Analysis views for each year. In the New View page, there is
the "Analysis Services Database to be created:" pick list.
Is it possible? Is it a good idea? Did you experiment that?

Robert:

Time is a basic dimension in the cube, so you can always slice the data by
year. I don't see what you're trying to accomplish by building separate
cubes, which I do not think you can accomplish by year using the out-of-box
tools.

Gary,

I expected to draw S Curves (for cumulative Actual work for example)
starting from zero each year.
Is it possible?

Unless you're imagining something more complicated than your statement
suggests, I don't see why not. You can use the time dimension in the filter
area to limit your data to a specific calendar or fiscal year.
