We have Office Project Server 2007 SP1 implemented.
We're using OLAP Cubes for Data Analysis, and everything works great -
when you're logged onto the Windows domain.
However, our users do not log onto the Windows domain, rather each
Windows terminal is using Novell to network.
They are not able to use the Data Analysis views from their terminals,
with the return error stating unable to connect to Analysis Services
server.
I have everything working when logged into the domain, and have all
the client components loaded on my Windows terminal. I have IE
configured to access data across domains. Both the Analysis Services
Provider and the Web Components are loaded. I have the proper domain
suffixes in the TCP/IP properties. I can ping my Analysis server from
my Windows terminal.
What am I missing? Why can't my Data Analysis views access the
Analysis Services server? Why does it seem that a user must be
authenticated on the domain in order to view an aspx page!
