Analysis tool pack disappears from menu Excel 2003 requiring reinstallation

The Analysis Tool Pack frequently disappears from my Excel 2003 menu,
even though it is still installed according to add-ins. To fix the
problem, I uninstall (that is, uncheck) the add-in and then reinstall
it. But this is annoying.

Any ideas?
