Analyze Custom Field data in Excel Wizard

ScottO

I have created 3 custom cost fields to show labor costs,
capital costs and the combined total costs in the cost
table of the Gantt Chart. The "analyze timescaled data in
excel" wizard is awesome, and that's what my boss wants to
see, but I can't get the custom fields to show up in the
selection for fields to export... is it possible in MS
Project 2000 to do this?

Thanks.

The custom fields are not timescaled so they are not available to be
exported. You could modify the code if you have a copy of visual basic 6.
The code is available for download at msdn.microsoft.com

Scott,
Or, you could be even more awesome in your boss's eyes by writing your
own custom macro to export the custom data. Keep in mind though that you
will need to develop the algorithm for timescaling the custom fields you
developed. But to answer you basic question, yes it can be done in any
version of Project. I've done it many times and I believe Jack has also.
