Analyze Timescaled Data in Excel

dt @ dsc

We are using MS Project 2003 Enterprise. We have been asked by a client to
utilize the "Analyze Timescaled Data in Excel" feature in MS Project to
submit our earned value table. I do not find the Analyze Toolbar, however
when I use the "Help" feature in MSP 2003, it refers to that same toolbar.

Was this feature not included in the upgrade or am I missing something? I
appreciate your help with this.

Thanks, dt

The feature you are looking for is not in Project Pro. It's in PWA under the
Project tab: Analyze Projects in Portfolio Analyzer

In Microsoft Project Professional, click View - Toolbars - Analysis. You
should see the Analyze Timescaled Date in Excel button on that toolbar.
Hope this helps.

Dale,

I did that and there is no Analyze Toolbar available in Project Professional
that I can find. dt

Thanks Rick, but I don't think Portfolio Analyzer will give me the info I am
looking for. You are unable to pull information by task in PA and the only
cost info you can use is Baseline or Actual. It doesn't pull for BCWS or
ACWP. That's the type of info I need and it's all available in Task Useage
views, but the table used to be available with an Analyze toolbar. I can do
it manually, but would prefer if something were available to do the calcs for
me.

Any other suggestions? Thanks, dt
