Analyze with Excel (from Access) produces error recordset not updatable?

When using a query and then selecting Analyze with Excel, at random it
produces an error "recordset not updatable"

This is with access 2000. It doesn't always error. Sometimes it
works fine.

Anyone know why this would occur?

Sorry for the double post but the heading was wrong.

IIRC, I got a similar problem once when I used Access 2K without the Service
Releases / Service Packs. If you Access2K has not been patched with SR /
SP, try doing so aspa as there were a number of bugs in the original release
of A2K.
