And Merge Workbooks

Does anyone know why the 'Compare And Merge Workbooks' facility under the
'Tools' menu is never available (grayed out), and how to make it available
please? It sounds like it could be quite useful, but I haven't got the
opportunity of using it.

The workbook must be shared to use this function. Under tools, select
"Share workbook", then if you want to merge, select the check box at
the top.
