Hi there,

What version of Office are you running? Can you give me more details
on the crashes you are seeing and could you send me the crash report
if possible?
You can send the report directly to me at: (e-mail address removed)

Hi Fergal,

I am running 2004 and 2008 (only because you guys pulled out VBA and 2008 used to crash all the time especially with pivots). The only way to recover the files was to open with OpenOffice, resave and then use Excel again.

I get crash reports almost every day, and usually send reports to Apple, however I am more than happy to send them onto you. Do you want me to send one each time, or just one, or a few?

Hi Hiatts, thanks a lot for offering to report the XL crashes. The crash report is definitely helpful for us to understand the problem. It would be more helpful if you could also provide us with detailed repro steps (i.e. how do you reach the crash point).

You can send the details of a crash to Fergal or me (xinxin@microsoft). Thanks!
