I would just like to know how is it that you can have a feature such as
"speech recognition" in an earlier version of your Office Suite (2003) and
not have it in the NEW AND IMPROVED OFFICE 2007?
How can you make such disastrous decisions which affect thousands and
thousands of loyal Microsoft customers?
What about all of the disabled individuals that have come to rely on you for
this feature?
What about all of us who spent countless hours training on our systems so we
could improve the product and had become somewhat acquainted on how to use
the commands in order to navigate through it.
You are like the crab that is going sideways or backwards after giving a
step forward. It is hard to defend your reputation against all of the people
who don’t like Microsoft products because of the FLAGRANT lack respect you
showed us in making this decision.
Call me hypocrite but I feel that this is just one more way to try to make
the public continue to support Microsoft’s revenue by making us go out and
by Windows Vista (which does have the speech recognition). I don't have
$199.00 to spend on yet another Microsoft application especially when the one
that was working for me no longer does.
I have been a loyal Microsoft customer since the early days of MS-DOS and
have gone through all of your products. I have been a beta tester and helped
with the up's and down's of the previous products. I remember that I even
had to pay to obtain the beta products!
But I would like to know why am I supposed to pay for the salaries of those
who don’t show any respect for their customers?
I really cannot begin to tell you how upset that decision has made me. I
don't know who the genius is that made that decision but it has ruined
thousands of people’s lives who will now have to go and spend money on
something that they already had enjoyed using and mastering.
I hope you relay this information to your BRILLIANT decision makers.
