Angled header row?

Jennifer

The style manual for reports where I work shows a table
with the header row (cells and text) angled at 60 degrees,
similar to what you would do with axis labels in Excel if
they were too long and interfering with each other. i.e.
the table looks something like this:
/////////
----------
----------
----------

Is there any way to achieve this in Word?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, Jennifer,

Text in Word tables can be rotated only 90 degrees left or right.

The only ways to get other angles are to embed a piece of an Excel
worksheet, or to use WordArt.
