Hi,
First let me say that you guys are a tremendous help. I appreciate your
work and the promptness and comprehensiveness of your answers.
OK. "Angled slash covering more than one character..."
As an example, on an eBay auction with little response so far, I want to
lower my asking price. But I want to leave the original price on my site
description above the new price. What I want to do is to put an angled,
forward slash (or two angled slashes, one forward, one back slash, which
would produce an extended "X" ) over the old price. Below that I'll say
something like. "Fire Sale. Giveaway Price Reduction", or whatever
commercial hype I can make up. Is there a way to do this in Word 2004, then
transfer the text to HTML, then post it in the description box so it appears
correctly on the ad?
Thanks,
Rafael
