Animating paragraphs

There are times when animated text does not offer any options other than "As
One Object" in the Animation task pane, V03 or V07. This just happened to me
on a title placeholder and it reminded me that I really have no idea what
conditions must exist for this to take place.

Have others experienced this? Text that is in separate paragraphs but will
not allow for animation "by 1st level paragraphs"?

I believe that text in Title placeholders always animates as one object Rick.
Not sure though.
