Animation does not work after 1st showing

Hi,

I have animated an arrow in a slide. The presentations have buttons so that
one can move forward and back in the presentation. After the slide is shown
once and one clicks to the next slide and then back again the animation does
not start the second time. Any ideas on how to make it work every time I go
to that slide?

Hi Eva

The common workaround for this is to have a blank slide before the animated
one, set to transition on 0 seconds, then link to it rather than the
animated slide.

Create a blank slide (or a duplicate with no animation) and give it an auto
transition zero secs.

Place this before the animated slide and make your link to this slide

PPT always returns to the finished state of a slide, the usual trick is to
insert a blank slide before and set the transition of that slide to
automatic.
