I had no luck with PP OSX and several Windows versions on PC's.

The animations were pretty much unusable. The slide transitions were fine.

Hi Iris,

Macintosh QuickTime transitions in PowerPoint 2001 are not available on
Windows PowerPoint 2000, so they won't work. All of the other animations
and effects should work just fine.

Yes. My wife does all of her PPPresos on one of my Macs and shows them on
the PC at her work. No issues, hassles or problems. And no
changes/adjustments are needed.

I'm using Mac PP OSX to create the presentation and the animations are terrible
on a PC using Windows XP. They don't exit when they're supposed to, the text
box backgrounds don't work as they do on the Mac (text shows through on the
PC). The presentation is essentially unusable.

Perhaps it has something to do with the way I burned it to the CD. I just
dragged it over to the CD icon on the desktop and let it go.

There is clearly something wrong here.
