animation in masterslide

I made a simple animation in my presentation: when I click an object another
object appears. Because I need this animation in every slide, I put it in the
masterslide because this seemed the most elegant solution.
But how can I make sure that the object that appears always appears in front
of all other things in my slide: using 'bring to front' for the animation in
the masterslide or 'send to back' for other blocking objects in the slides
themselves does not seem to work.
I can offcourse put the animation in each slide, but this is rather tedious.
Is there an elegant way around this problem?

I don't think there's an easy way around this: stuff on the master is on a
lower layer than stuff on the slide.

On the necessary slides, tou can go to the animation pane and move the
animated objects to the slide.

instructions. Then they're editable, so you could "bring to front."
