Animation in VBA

I want to display a little animation of my own while my
application is loading and also during extended processing.

I have tried to do so with timer but it is erratic at best.

Is there a way to create and drop some kind of animation
that will animate independently of the application. e.g a
spinning wheel? I use the Corel products for graphics.

I have a progress bar that runs independtly when you have a long process.

Grab the word merge example...and run it..there is a progress bar there you
can use.

It is not a animated gif...but is simple ...
