ANN: NewsHound 2.0 released

Shoreline Software is pleased to announce NewsHound 2.0.

NewsHound is an Outlook "add-in" and MAPI transport provider, which adds
full newsgroup support into Outlook 2000, 2002 and 2003.

Version 2.0 adds full support for newsgroup article headers. Headers
can be marked manually and the full articles retrieved during a
subsequent online session, or articles can be downloaded automatically,
"on-the-fly", when you click on any header item.

NewsHound 2.0 is the only NNTP add-in for Outlook that correctly
implements support for newsgroup article headers. NewsHound does NOT
dump all headers in your inbox; headers are placed in their respective
newsgroup folders, as you would expect them to be. If you are familiar
with Outlook Express, headers in NewsHound 2.0 work in exactly the same
way.

Version 2.0 includes several other new features, including support for
secure connections using SSL 2.0, 3.0 and TLS 1.0 protocols,
multithreaded article retrieval from multiple servers, new options for
newsgroup management, posting and retrieval, and improved performance in
folders with a large number of articles.

NewsHound also has the ability to colorize newsgroup articles, making
them easier to read by applying different colors to each level of quoted
text, as well as choosing font sizes and styles and other visual
attributes.

NewsHound 2.0 is still only $29.95. Upgrades to version 2.0 for current
users are free. A fully functional 30 day evaluation version is
available for download on our web site, at
http://www.shorelinesoftware.com. More information and screen shots are
also available on our web site.

Thank you for your time.
