[ANN] Revised MacWord FAQ Now Live!

Beth Rosengard

Many of you are already familiar with the wealth of material about Word that
is available at the Word MVP site (<http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/index.htm>).
Well, I'm pleased to announce that the MacWord section of that site has been
revamped, reorganized, updated, and contains several new articles pertaining
to Word 2004 (in addition to Word X, 2001 and even 98).

To access the site, click here:
<http://word.mvps.org/MacWordNew/Index.htm>. This page takes you to a
Redirect page which tells you that the site is buggy in Safari. (Sorry!
We'll get to the bottom of it soon.) You'll need to hit Refresh/Reload once
or twice before pages on the site will come up. Or you can switch to using
IE.

The site is especially thorough when it comes to Troubleshooting MacWord,
with additional articles about Using MacWord. You'll find most such
articles in the main Word FAQ, however, since when it comes to using Word,
there aren't that many differences between the PC and Mac versions. Check
the article called "Differences between PC and Mac Word".

We hope to expand the site greatly in the coming months and welcome ideas
and submissions from all. You do NOT need to be an MVP to contribute. Here
are just a few of the topics about which we'd like to post articles:

Problems with section breaks and PDFs
 Graphic problems
Sending Word attachments from Mac to PC and reverse
Using MacWord in a corporate environment
Anything to do with the new features in Word 2004

If you're interested in writing on these topics or any others for the site,
please contact me directly. Put "MacWord Site" in the Subject line of the
email so my junk mail filter doesn't appropriate your post. I'll then send
you the guidelines for submitting an article to word.mvps.org.

Hope to hear from you and that you enjoy the site!
