Hi !
I'm having a problem with the display of annotation in TIF files. I'm
managing a network with 2 kinds of computers :
- Group1 : Windows 2000 Pro with Office 2000 Professional
- Group2 : Windows XP Pro with Office 2003 Standard
We receive all our faxes in TIF format. We need to annotate these
document. When all the computers were on Windows 2000 Pro with Office
2000 Professional (Group1), there were no problem at all.
However, since we have some computers on Windows XP Pro with Office
2003 Standard (Group2), annotations made by computers in Group1 are not
displayed when the TIF file is opened by a computer in Group2. The
inverse also occurs : annotations made by computers in Group2 are not
displayed when the TIF file is opened by a computer in Group1.
There seems to be an incompatibility between the document imaging tool
of Windows 2000 and the one in Office 2003.
Has anyone been experiencing this problem, and has anyone has some
solutions to share ?
Thanks for any help !
