Annoying Add-in Message

I am using a iMAC and running MS Office 2004 v11.1. I have installed
Endnote 8 in the Office startup folder and every time I start MS Word I
get the following message:

The wizard or add-in you are opening contains its own program code.
Some.........Do you want to continue and open this file?

No Yes

Default is "NO".

Not horrible but very annoying! Anyway to turn off this warning?

Help most appreciated.

Odd. I have EndNote 8 and Office 2004 and don't get such a message.

I'm gonna make a guess--do you have EndNote set to open on launching Word?
Look in Word--Tools>EndNote 8>Cite While You Write Preferences. That
might be causing it.

By the way, I wouldn't trust Instant Formatting.

If the EndNote template is in the folder indicated in Word>Preferences>File
Locations>User Templates, or in the folder indicated in ../WorkGroup
Templates, you should not see the message.

You can either place the EndNote.dot in one of those folders, or change one
of those folders to where EndNote.dot is. You will find it safer to change
the location for WorkGroup templates, provided that you are not on a network
or using that location for something else.

Moving User Templates can give you knock-on side-effects unless you are sure
it is safe to do so (I do, and if you really MUST change User Templates, get
back to us and we'll tell you what to look for: but there's a few
considerations).

Cheers
