I have been opening Word '97 documents, saving them as new
Word 2002 documents. I then make changes to the new
document. Some of these changes are in the Header/Footer
sections. When I am done with the changes and click
on "close" on the Header/Footer box, I am left with an
opaque box on my screen that blocks out the text
underneath it. It may keep some of the Header/Footer
toolbar and then again, it may not. It may appear white
(most often) or pick up "stuff" from other applications as
I switch back and forth. The bar however, only shows up
in Word. It does not print on the document. It is
annoying to have to scroll up and down to see past this
box. I have tried all the updates, I have changed my
resolution, nothing has worked. Please help.
