A perfect example of why hijacking a thread never works. Do you get the
invalid certificate message
"The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that could
not be verified. A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root
certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider. Do you want to
continue using this server?"
? If not, then this thread has nothing to do with what your issue may be.
If none of the above applies to you, then you need to start your own thread
and not hijack another one and expect the answers provided to the OP to
apply to you.
