Annoying Error: no office assistant character files present

Hi,

Anytime I hide my little paperclip Office Assistant guy in any office
program, the next office program I open (like Access, FrontPage, Outlook,
Word...any of them) will give me this error:

There are no Office Assistant characters present on the system. Please run
Setup in Maintenance Mode and install at least one character.

Now I know I have at least one, 'cause that annoying little paperclip guy
keeps coming up. I don't know how to run system setup in maintenance mode,
or I would at least try that. But since I know I have the paperclip guy, I'm
thinking this is some other error.

I searched the heck out of the Microsoft site, but it only brought up
irrelevant results. (The site doesn't support a boolean search???) Can
anyone tell me how to make this stop happening everytime I temporarily hide
the paperclip?

Thanks

Thanks for your response. Yes, that is exactly my problem. Unfortunately,
all that did was confirm that it's an error, and then give me a link to three
articles that all said about the same thing. None of them gave me a patch or
any ofher fix. I guess maybe that means that Microsoft hasn't fixed it yet.
:)
