annoying issues

I have a few issues:
1) How can I set a view that remains after the file is closed. I want a view
with % complete & resources. None of the enterprise’s views shows them and
when trying to change the gantt chart , it won’t save changes
2) How can I eliminate the external links from appearing in the web access
3) The date still remains in US form. In the regional settings on my PC they
appear correctly.

Assaf:

1: You can modify an existing enterprise view, create a new enterprise view,
or you can create your own personal local view. All three options are
available.
2: Can you be a bit more specific on this?
3: If you're talking about PWA, unless you have a specific language version
installed, you may need to install MUI packs to update your Project Server
application before it will show localized content.

Good afternoon,
I have responded to your other post regarding items 2 and 3.
Regarding item 1, I believe that the solution is to use the view entitled "Enterprise Gantt Chart".
The way to set this up is to open Microsoft Project and then select from the menu:"Tools -> Enterprise Options -> Open Enterprise Global". Next select "View -> Enterprise Gantt Chart".
Now configure this view as you would like it to appear for all projects. You can set column order, column widths, headings, alignments, et al.
Once you have got it as you would like it, save it and then close the project. You should be asked it you would like to check in the project, do so.
If you now open one of your projects, you should be informed that the view has changed and if you now go to the "Enterprise Gantt Chart" it should appear as you saved it.
I have used the same method on the Task Usage, Resource Sheet and Resource Usage views as well.
