Annoying Popup while Saving with Tracked Changes (Word 2007)

I'm working on a document in which I am tracking changes. I compulsively hit
ctrl+S to save my doc while working, and every time I do, I get an annoying
popup that tells me I am saving a doc that has tracked changes and do I want
to continue.

I cant understand why it thinks this is importnat, and more importantly, I
cant find a way to turn off this notification.

Any ideas??

Thanks.

This security feature was added to protect ignoramusses from their own
ignoramusness, because they were somehow unaware that they were tracking
changes in their documents, and they were witlessly sending the
documents to other people with the tracked changes intact, when the
recipients were supposed to only see the final version without tracked
changes. Sound like anyone you know? At your own risk, you can turn
off this security feature in Word 2007 by clicking on Office button |
Word Options | Trust Center | Trust Center Settings | Privacy Options |
uncheck the "Warn before printing, saving or sending a file that
contains tracked changes or comments" box | OK.

Thanks much - that was the answer. I'll be taking the risk... ;)

Apologies for the multi-post. Now I know....

I have Word 2003 SP3 -
I've turned this option off, but for whatever reason, it keeps turning
itself back on. (If I save, close the document, then next time I open it,
that box is now checked). Is this a bug? Or is there something else I need
to change?
