Annoying read-only when the file is closed

S

sasa

Hi,

Configuration:
Desktop: Office 97, Excel 97
Network: Windows 2000 Active Directory

Some users are sharing an Excel file. Sometimes when the file is closed,
opening the same file still comes up with the read-only/notify window.
How come that this prompt is still coming up when the file is not opened
anywhere.

Can you help in this puzzle?

Thanks
