I¹m running Mac OS X 10.4.2 with Office 2004 (all latest updates) and have a
Palm Treo 650. If I create an event on my Palm and it gets into Entourage
via HotSync, any time I edit such an event, I get the warning: ³You have
made changes to this invitation. If the organizer sends an updated meeting,
your changes will be lost.² This is good info to know ‹ but after seeing it
10,000 times, it¹s lost its noteworthiness. There seems to be no way to
suppress the message like other messages that have that ³do not show me
again² checkbox. This message never crops up if I created the event in
Entourage to start with (even if it has since been copied to the Palm by
HotSync and edited there).
I¹ve had this problem ever since I got Office 2004, back when I was using a
Palm Tungsten C and Mac OS X 10.3, so it¹s not related to the Treo or a bug
in the new Mac operating system. Anybody know how to get this nuisance gone?
