Annoying virus warning popup in e-mail

How do I turn off the "Opening Mail Attachments" virus warning popup that asks me to "open it" or "save to disk" before it will open the attachment. I click off the "always ask before opening this type of file" box each time but it does not help. When I open any file outside of Outlook it does not prompt me with the virus warning.
