Anonymous Access to a Project Workspace

I have a project workspace with anonymous access set up to allow all windows
authenticated users to access the site. I also have the users setup with
"contributor" permissions. I have had several instances where a windows
authenticated user has tried to add an item to a list and when they click
save they get an error. I tried testing this with a test windows account
that did not have a project server account, etc. I was able to enter and
save an item successfully. I noticed when I first accessed the site, there
was some sort of download that took place automatically but I did not see
what it was. Is anyone aware of a component or active X control that
downloads the first time you visit a project workspace? Could it be that the
individuals who are having trouble don't have this install (whatever it is?).
Some of them don't use Project Web Access nor do they use MS Project so
could that be where the install is coming from or something? Any ideas would
be helpful. It is not a good thing when an Executive gets an error when he
is trying to add something to the list!!
