Hi, i am new to project server and have set up a small network to evaluate it.
My problem is i can connect to Project Server From Project professional when
i have Anonymous access swithced on but when i switch it off and test the
connection i get a 401.2 error message.
I'm using the following setup:
Machine 1: A domain controller
Machine 2: Windows Server 2003
Project Server
Windows Sharepoint Services
SQL Server 2000 Sp3a
I'm using Integrated Windows Authentication
All users have domain A/C's and can connect to Project Web Access no Problem.
I have read about how anonymous access works but the secutity in my
organisation
is quite rigid and i can't imagine them allowing it to be used as it hasn't
been used in the 2002 version in use on the newtork.
Is there something i'm missing?
As i say i'm new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated
