What is the rule for using insideH/insideV instead of cell borders set
in the row or cell? And does a signle cell having a top border then
eliminate the insideH for all of that row, or just that cell?

InsideH and InsideV means that that cell will have a border which display on
all interior horizontal or vertical edges. Please look at the following
