I have a long document of 1038 pages authored in Word 2007 as A5 for
printing as a thick paperback book. The margins are mirrored for
left-side binding. This document has been converted to PDF using
Acrobat 9 Pro Extended and prints fine to an HP LJ 1320PS on A5 paper,
with all formatting preserved. However…
In Acrobat when I try to print 2 x A5 pages on each side of an A4
sheet the pages get scaled a little, making the font size even
smaller, and the mirrored margins are lost. Acrobat just prints equal
margins, which is useless for perfect binding.
How can I print 2 x A5 pages on each side of an A4 sheet whilst
preserving the mirrored margins and without the A5 pages being scaled
down slightly? I am confused about the Acrobat printer settings and
the actual printer <properties> settings.
Would I be better doing this via Word? If so what are the correct
printer driver settings?
Many thanks in advance for help.
